Sarah & Joey
Though it looked like it was going to be a wash-out, Sarah & Joey and I met up at our location Mt. Vernon beach in Cape May to see what kind of shots we would be able to get for their E-session. Turns out, the weather broke just enough to let us have our fun and we were able to capture such beautiful coloring in the skies! Sarah and Joey are so easy to talk to and have fun with, I can’t wait for their wedding next year 
Kristen & Ray
This morning I met Kristen & Ray at the Cape May County Zoo park for their engagement session. Kristen & Ray for young and playful which always makes for good shots. I loved Kristen’s laugh (which she did a lot!) as well as the love in both of their eyes for each other.

Sue & Matt Engagement Portraits
Yesterday I met with Sue, Matt, and their cutie dog Yoshi at the Cape May Lighthouse then we made our way over to St. Peter’s Church in Cape May Point. Sue & Matt were a dream to photograph (Yoshi, too!) as they were so relaxed in front of the camera and they just started doing their own thing and I just captured. Truly couldn’t have asked for a better (or easier) session. There were too many favorites to narrow it down to my favorite 10, so enjoy a few bonus shots!!
Abby & Trent Engagement
The engagement shoot was supposed to be Saturday evening, but with storms all day the shoot was postponed to Sunday morning. I met Abby & Trent, a very young and sweet couple who met in high school at track & field, at the Cape May Lighthouse bright and early in the morning before the crowds came. Though it was hot and sticky, they didn’t look like they were melting (unlike me)!

Jeane & Eddie – Engagement
After lots of emails, I finally met Jeane and Eddie today! I knew it would be a whole lot of fun and we were very lucky to have blue skies and fairly warm weather. Jeane & Eddie were so much fun and full of laughter! I really enjoyed hanging out with them and especially enjoyed how they didn’t refuse my strange requests (like, cupcakes on their heads). I hope the weather next week for their wedding will be just as beautiful and even warmer. Very excited to work with them again and so soon!

Brianna & Andre
They did it! After a long courtship, a brief engagement, and a quick ceremony, Brianna and Andre wed yesterday. After knowing Brianna for a few years, I was ecstatic when she accepted my offer of a portrait session! She is absolutely beautiful and has the most awesome outfits and of course a stunning smile. It was wonderful meeting Andre for the first time too. He was a great model as well and even had ideas for some shots. (I always welcome input!) We had a fun time playing on a mostly abandoned Wildwood boardwalk, and had perfect weather. Couldn’t have asked for better.
Congrats again, you two! I hope to see you guys more as you come back up this way!
Amy & Dustin
Last evening I had the chance to meet and photograph Amy & Dustin for their engagement photos. What a sweet couple and so outgoing and fun! Amy met Dustin when she was 14 – how lucky to meet your “one” at such a young age. Our shoot led us to different locations all within the same area. We started out on the beach in Cape May, then moved up behind the Convention Hall which will be gone shortly, then we moved to the arcade and boardwalk and then back on the beach in the dark! They were both great sports- especially when I asked them to sit in the cold ocean water in the dark! Their wedding will be July 4th next year, and I can’t wait!

Jessie & Chris Engagement Portraits
One of my best friends, Jessie, recently got engaged to her wonderful boyfriend Chris and today we did their engagement portraits in their yard and gardens. The yard and gardens play a very big role in their lives (and they even got engaged there). It was so much fun- despite the 100 + degree heat!
