Kristen & Ray

This morning I met Kristen & Ray at the Cape May County Zoo park for their engagement session. Kristen & Ray for young and playful which always makes for good shots. I loved Kristen’s laugh (which she did a lot!) as well as the love in both of their eyes for each other.

Enjoy!

Maggie- Trash the Dress/Vintage Portraits

Every year when my sister-in-law visits, we set up a fun photo shoot and take time to connect over something we both have a passion for. This year I had it in my head to trash *my* wedding dress. As I am pregnant, and most likely will never fit in my wedding dress again, I quickly came to realize the next best thing- Maggie! Maggie wasn’t so sure about trashing my dress as she was concerned I would regret it. What to regret? It has been sitting in my closet for 3 years now not doing a thing. I wanted it to be used again and creatively. I was so happy when the shoot came together, and without realizing that it had a slight vintage flair to it- perfect for my vintage project I have been working on.

Enjoy!!

Chantal & Mario

Yesterday was Chantal & Mario’s beautiful ceremony. What a beautiful day and a beautiful family!

Chantal got ready at the Mainstay Inn in Cape May, took a ride in a horse and carriage from the Cape May Carriage Company, got married at the Cove beach, and had a small dinner reception at Martini Beach.

Chantal & Mario are a sweet, fun loving, and a very strong couple.

Enjoy!

The Hinksmon Family

The other day I met with the Hinksmon family. Their little boy, Alex, was full of energy and was fascinated with everything at Higbee’s Beach.

I enjoyed my time with them!

Stephanie & Josh

Saturday was even hotter than Friday, but you wouldn’t know it by looking at Stephanie, Josh, and the entire bridal party: they kept their cool through out! I had a super time shooting with them everyone was so fun and exciting and sweet. The ceremony took place on the beach in Avalon, right on the Golden Inn’s property  and the reception inside.

Stephanie had put great thought into all the little things for the wedding, and it showed through and through!

Kristin & Todd

This weekend brought the hottest weather we’ve seen down the shore in a long while- and a busy weekend for Meacreations! Starting with Friday evening, I met with Kristin & Todd and their family as they shared vows under the blazing sun (but a breeze had just kicked in minutes before the ceremony). A nice sweet couple joining together with their kids to make one big beautiful family! The ceremony was on the beach across the street from the Grand Hotel in Cape May, with the reception following at the Grand.

Enjoy!

Amanda & AJ

It was such a hot but beautiful day for Amanda and AJ’s wedding on Sunday at the Southern Mansion in Cape May. Though everyone was melting, they kept their cool long enough for photos – which was great!

I wish Amanda & AJ the best in the coming future :)

Sue & Matt Engagement Portraits

Yesterday I met with Sue, Matt, and their cutie dog Yoshi at the Cape May Lighthouse then we made our way over to St. Peter’s Church in Cape May Point. Sue & Matt were a dream to photograph (Yoshi, too!) as they were so relaxed in front of the camera and they just started doing their own thing and I just captured. Truly couldn’t have asked for a better (or easier) session. There were too many favorites to narrow it down to my favorite 10, so enjoy a few bonus shots!!

Felicity – Spring Contest Winner

In the spring I held a contest on my Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/meacreations) in which the winner would win a free portrait session. The winner was Felicity :) What a beautiful girl and great to work with! The shoot took place at her grandparents’ home in South Seaville with beautiful gardens all around! There were so many shots, but I chose my top 10 favorite.

Enjoy!

The Davis Family

I met the Davis family for the first time last year and fell in love with how photogenic they all were. This year we met at Higbees Beach (a beautiful hide-away beach in Cape May). The girls grew up so fast in a year but still had the joy and excitement of coming up with ideas for poses and such.

Enjoy!
